What type of personal information might I collect?
The personal data that I collect from you may include:
- Your name, address, email address and phone number.
- Records of your queries and correspondence where necessary.
- Details of website user stats.
- Session notes.
- Financial information required for payment.
How do I get the personal data from you and why do I have it?
Most of the information I collect is received directly from you when you:
- Enquire about my services.
- Sign up for a newsletter or services.
- Pay for services.
This information enables me to:
- Provide you with the requested information, newsletter, or services.
- Update you about my services and pricing.
- Provide you with customer care (for example emails as part of a coaching package)
- To receive your payments.
Sometimes your personal data reaches me through a third party platform, for example when you contact me via my website, or social media channels, or sign up and pay for a course via an online platform (e.g Eventbrite). I collect this data so that I can provide you with any requested information or services, update you about my services, provide you with customer care, and receive your payments.
How I store your personal information
Your information is securely stored on a password protected computer.
How long is your personal information stored?
Your personal information will be kept while you are using my services, or for as long as necessary to comply with applicable laws and accountancy obligations.
Financial data must legally be kept for 7 years.
Who has access to your personal data?
- I use your data for the administration, support, and provision of my services.
- Your data will never be sold to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
- I may pass your personal data to third parties for the provision of services on my behalf (for example to enable me to collect your payment e.g via PayPal).
- I may share your personal data if I am obliged to for compliance with any legal obligation.
Your data protection rights
Under data protection law, you have rights including:
Access – You have the right to ask me for copies of your personal information.
Rectification – You have the right to ask me to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask me to complete information you think is incomplete.
Erasure – You have the right to ask me to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.
Restriction/objection of processing – You have the right to ask me to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances. For example, if you no longer wish to receive marketing information.
Data portability – You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave me to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.
You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
